Tuesday 21st July - walk ** – Felixstowe prom – cloudy.
As the day dawned cloudy and it lasted until late evening I decided to stay
in bed this morning as Mag set off on her early morning prom walk! Quiet
day really, late breakfast in the garden before doing my exercises. I had a
drive down Gulpher Road to see if the field I saw being harvested had been
baled but sadly I think the combine had broken down and it hadn’t
finished cutting it:( We then walked round to have a cuppa with Mary and
her daughter was also there so stayed longer today before we set off down
past Harvest House for a walk along a very quiet prom, despite being cloudy
it was still a t-shirt day! Chris Page on About Anglia said there might be
a red sunset due to the fires in Canada and there was a lot of smoke over
the UK, so when the cloud cleared I headed down to Felixstowe Ferry to
watch a large red ball slip below the horizon and there was a cool half
moon too!
